1. Who we are and acceptance

Do The Thing! ("the app") is published by Flaw Interactive, [Address] ("we", "us"). By using the app you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Using the app

Do The Thing! is free to download and play, shows ads unless you have Premium, and is provided "as is", for fun. You can play solo and in free play as a guest, without an account. Leaderboards, friends, cloud saves and online parties need a free account. Games and features may change or stop at any time, for example to fix bugs or add new content.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (15 in France), you need a parent's permission.
• One account per person. Give a valid e-mail address that you can access.
• Keep your login to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at contact@flawinteractive.com if you think someone else is using it.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile tab → Privacy & CGU → Account Security) or from the account deletion page.

4. Be nice

• No offensive, hateful or sexual usernames, no impersonation of other people, and no personal information (real full name, address, phone number…) in your username.
• No cheating, bots, hacking, exploiting bugs, spamming friend requests or invitations, or harassing other players.
• Don't try to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the online service.

Accounts that break these rules may be renamed, suspended or deleted, with or without notice depending on how serious the problem is. To report a player, write to contact@flawinteractive.com with their username.

5. Scores

Scores obtained by cheating or through bugs may be removed from the leaderboards. Leaderboards may also be reset, for example after a game is rebalanced.

6. Content

The games, characters (Bloop, Spike, Noodle, Blocky, Mr Screen and the others), art, music and software belong to Flaw Interactive or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your own entertainment. You may not copy, sell or redistribute it. You can share screenshots and videos of your games.

You keep your username, but you allow us to display it in the app (leaderboards, friends lists, online parties) for as long as your account exists.

7. Online service

Online features rely on service providers (GD-Sync and Google Firebase). We do our best to keep them running but cannot guarantee that they will always be available, fast or free of errors.

8. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost progress caused by bugs, connection problems or the online service being unavailable, nor for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you, or our liability where it cannot legally be limited.

9. Premium, purchases and ads

• The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob, according to your consent choices (see the Privacy Policy), unless you have Premium.
• Premium is an optional subscription, sold through Google Play. Its price, its period and what it includes are shown in the app before you pay, and Google Play takes the payment when you confirm.
• It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play account; Premium then stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
• If the price changes, Google Play tells you before the new price applies, and you can cancel.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play, under its own refund policy.
• If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts made at a distance. Premium starts as soon as you subscribe. [Wording on the right of withdrawal for digital services to confirm, and to match the store’s purchase flow.]
• Trophies, scores and other game rewards have no monetary value and can’t be sold, exchanged or converted into money.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated. The latest version is always available in the app and on this page. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by [the law of the owner's country, e.g. French law]. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to find a friendly solution. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can also use the mediation service [consumer mediator, if required] and you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
