Delete your Do The Thing! account
Do The Thing! is published by Flaw Interactive. You can delete your account and its data at any time. Guests have no online account: uninstalling the app deletes everything.
Option 1 — In the app (immediate)
- Open Do The Thing! and make sure you are logged in and online.
- Tap the Profile tab, then Privacy & CGU → Account Security.
- Tap Delete my account, then Delete forever.
Option 2 — By e-mail (without the app)
Write to contact@flawinteractive.com from the e-mail address of your account, with the subject "Account deletion request" and your username. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete it within [30 days] and confirm by e-mail.
What is deleted
- Your online account: username, e-mail address, password.
- Your leaderboard scores, friends, friend requests and invitations, trophies and stats, character and colours.
- Your notification data (notification token, language, preferences, time zone offset, last activity).
What is kept, and for how long
- Progress saved on your phone (settings, trophies, high scores) stays until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Anti-spam counters (anonymised) expire within about a day; technical logs of our hosting providers within about 30 days.
- Copies in our providers' backups may remain for up to [period to confirm with GD-Sync] before being overwritten.
Want to keep your account but remove some data? Turn off notifications in the Profile tab → Notifications, change your username in Profile tab → Profile, or write to us. More in the Privacy Policy.
