Privacy Policy
- There’s no account: you play without signing up, and your progress stays on your phone.
- The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. In Europe, ads are only personalised if you agree, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy Settings.
- We use Google Firebase to see how the game is played and to receive crash reports, so we can fix bugs and balance the game.
- Purchases go through Google Play or the App Store: we never see your payment details.
- We don’t sell your data.
1. Who we are
Pixel Party is published by Flaw Interactive, [Address] ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For advertising, Google also acts as an independent controller (see section 3).
Contact for anything related to your data: contact@flawinteractive.com.
2. No account, data on your phone
Pixel Party has no accounts and no server of its own. Your settings, language, best scores, Adventure progress, joker charges, daily streak and Premium status are stored only in the app’s private storage on your phone. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes them.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Unless you have Premium, the game shows ads provided by Google AdMob: banners, full-screen ads and optional reward videos (for example for a second chance). To choose, show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob collects directly from your phone:
- your device’s advertising identifier (the Android advertising ID; on iPhone, the IDFA only if you allow tracking);
- your IP address, from which an approximate location is derived;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- how you interact with ads (views, taps, rewards).
Your choices
- Europe (EEA, UK and Switzerland): the first time you open the game, a consent message from Google’s consent tool lets you accept or refuse personalised ads and the use of your device for advertising. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy Settings. If you refuse, you still see ads, but they aren’t personalised: they use limited data, for example to count views and prevent fraud.
- iPhone: the game asks for permission to track you through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency. If you refuse, the IDFA isn’t shared. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings (usually Privacy → Ads, or Google → Ads).
- Premium removes all ads.
Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4. Analytics and crash reports (Firebase)
To understand how the game is played and fix problems, the game uses Google Firebase:
- Google Analytics for Firebase records game events — games started, modes played, bosses beaten or failed, jokers used, settings changed, ads shown and purchases made (the product and its price, never your payment details) — together with a random app-instance identifier, your device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate country (derived from your IP address).
- Firebase Crashlytics sends a report when the app crashes: the technical state of the app at that moment (error trace, device model, operating system, free memory…) and a random installation identifier.
- Firebase Remote Config downloads game settings, such as difficulty tuning, so we can adjust the game without an update. It uses a random installation identifier.
These tools never receive your name, e-mail address or contacts. [Analytics currently runs without asking: confirm the legal basis (legitimate interest with an opt-out, or consent).]
5. Google Play Games and Game Center
Achievements and leaderboards use Google Play Games Services on Android and Apple Game Center on iPhone. When you are signed in, the game sends your scores and unlocked achievements to that service, which shows them with your gamer profile to other players according to your settings there. Google and Apple handle this data under their own privacy policies. We don’t store your Google or Apple account details.
6. Purchases
The Premium subscription (and the “Remove ads” purchase sold in earlier versions) is sold and handled by Google Play or the App Store. The store processes your payment and tells the game only what it needs to unlock Premium: which product you own and whether it is active. We never see your card or bank details. The game keeps your Premium status on your phone and records the purchase (product and price) in Analytics.
7. Reminders
If you allow notifications, the game schedules friendly reminders on your phone when you haven’t played for a while (at most four: after 2, 4, 7 and 14 days). They are created by the app itself: no notification token or other data is sent to a server. You can turn them off in your phone’s notification settings.
8. Why we use your data (legal bases)
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR) |

9. How long we keep it
- Data on your phone: until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
- Analytics data: [2 or 14 months — retention setting to confirm in Google Analytics], then deleted.
- Crash reports: 90 days.
- Advertising data: kept by Google under its own policies (how Google retains data).
- Support e-mails: as long as needed to answer you, and at most [3 years].
10. Service providers
We don’t sell or rent your data. It is processed by:
- Google (Google Ireland Limited for users in Europe, and Google LLC) — AdMob and its consent tool, Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config), Google Play Games Services and Google Play billing. Google’s privacy policy.
- Apple (on iPhone) — App Store purchases, Game Center and the tracking permission. Apple’s privacy policy.
We may also disclose data if required by law.
11. International transfers
Google may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses included in Google’s terms.
12. Children
Pixel Party is rated PEGI 3. It doesn’t ask for your name, age, e-mail or any other identity information. [Confirm the target audience declared on Google Play. If the game is aimed at children, ads must be served as child-directed (never personalised) and analytics limited.] If you are a parent and have a question, contact us.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe), you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy (portability), object to or restrict its use, and withdraw your consent at any time.
- Change your ad choices in Settings → Privacy Settings (and on iPhone, in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- Reset or delete your advertising identifier in your phone’s settings.
- Turn reminders off in your phone’s notification settings.
- Delete everything stored on your phone by uninstalling the game or clearing its data.
- For anything else, write to contact@flawinteractive.com. We answer within one month.
You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).
14. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when we add a feature. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app.
